A descriptive approach to the coastal landscape. I am not so much interested in the landscape itself as in the different ways of representing it. The beach is for me one of these privileged places, an intermediate zone, an in-between, between the extent of the maritime edge and the beginning of a landscape. In this geography, the concept of the edge finds an adequate illustration. A moving edge, from the sea lined with foam to the dune dotted with oyat.

The precision of the border creates the blur that leaves me free to transpose my emotions.”
